It was an exceptional evening of acknowledging achievements and saluting successes at the New Zealand Thoroughbred Horse of the Year Awards. Athletes, both horse and human, were honoured at this event where excellence, passion, and a love for our sport was celebrated.
Guests enjoyed a great night out entertaining clients, catching up with friends and colleagues, and celebrating the heroes of the past season. It truly was a night not to be missed! Featuring awards recognising our best-performing horses and people, concluding with the ultimate SENZ Horse of the Year accolade.

The New Zealand Thoroughbred Horse of the Year Awards is an esteemed event in New Zealand racing, serving as a grand celebration of success and excellence, bringing together the industry's prominent stars. With over 20 awards presented, including the highly coveted SENZ Horse of the Year accolade, this event honours the top performers of the previous racing season, both horses and humans alike. Since its inception in 1991, the Thoroughbred Racing Awards has become an annual tradition, recognising outstanding achievements. Winners are presented with an exquisite bronze trophy crafted by the renowned sculptor, Gerard McCabe, adding to the prestige of the occasion.
