Thoroughbred Welfare Strategy Update
NZTR’s initial ‘Thoroughbred Welfare Review & Strategy’ was undertaken and completed in 2017 with a full review of this strategy in 2022. Follow the link to read the updated strategy document
Retirement or Death of Thoroughbred Form
All owners or trainers must submit this form upon retiring a horse from either racing or breeding, or in the event of the death of a thoroughbred. This is important for traceability purposes.
