Thoroughbred racing in New Zealand has completed the 2025/26 season with growth in participation, domestic wagering and customer numbers, alongside nearly $102 million in funded prizemoney distributed.
Following a review of the upcoming synthetic track programme, the Awapuni synthetic meeting scheduled for Sunday 7 June has been removed from the racing calendar.
