NZTR and Harness Racing New Zealand have signed an agreement to work alongside TAB NZ to progress a programme of work to consider options for a more sustainable, efficient and future-focused New Zealand racing industry.
NZTR Board Chair Russell Warwick has advised he will step down as Chairman at the start of August and to resign as a director at the time of the AGM in November.
NZTR Chairman, Cameron George, commends the ATC after a recent decision was made by the NSW governing body of racing to enter a memorandum of understanding with the NSW Government around the future of its racing and infrastructure.
