Taranaki Racing ITM InterProvincial –– Saturday 5 September

This race is scheduled to run three weeks later than in previous years. This raceday complements the Group 1 Proisir Stakes Day at Ellerslie which runs on the same day. It will run for the usual stake of $80,000 as opposed to the one-off stake of $100,000 in the 25/26 season. The stake shows incorrectly in the hard-copy Racing Programming Guide but correctly elsewhere.

Poverty Bay Cup – Taupo Friday 9 October

The Poverty Bay Cup on 9 October is a R75 race over 2600m run at Taupo. The 2026/27 renewal will run for a stake of $70,000 as opposed to $60,000 in the previous season. The RPG booklet incorrectly shows this race as a $100,000 race. This is race 2 of the 2026 Prezzie Card Northern Cups Bonus Series.

Howden Insurance Mile – Hawke’s Bay Saturday 26 September

This is to confirm the stake for the above Group 1 race as $400,000 which shows correctly on-line and in the hard copy full programme in the RPG. This is the same stake as the 25/26 season. The stake is shown incorrectly in the separate advertisement in the front of the hard-copy programming guide.

Proisir Plate – Ellerslie Saturday 5 September

This is to confirm this Group 1 race will run on the above date at Ellerslie racecourse. This shows incorrectly in the advertisement in the front of the hard-copy RPG as 12 September. All other advertisements for this race show it correctly as Saturday 5 September.
