As reported in the New Zealand Herald this afternoon, Entain NZ Leaders Lachlan Fitt, Deputy CEO and CFO Entain Australia, and Cameron Rodger, Managing Director Entain NZ, have resigned from their respective positions to pursue passions in racing and breeding. New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing (NZTR) would like to extend its sincere thanks to Cameron Rodger and Lachlan Fitt for their exceptional work and leadership over the past two years.

Cameron and Lachlan have been instrumental in the significant changes and growth within New Zealand racing since Entain took over the operational running of the TAB in 2023. Their dedication to the industry has been evident in their efforts to increase stakes, develop the racing calendar, and drive the integration of modern technologies and processes into New Zealand's wagering landscape.

NZTR Chair Russell Warwick expressed his gratitude, saying, “Cameron and Lachlan’s leadership and vision have been vital in taking New Zealand racing to new heights. Their work in driving both the strategic and operational changes within the TAB has made a lasting impact. We wish them every success in the future and look forward to their continued involvement in the racing and breeding sectors."

Looking ahead, Deputy CFO Sam Moncur has been appointed to take over as managing director of Entain NZ. Highly respected in both wagering and racing, Sam is well-positioned to continue driving the industry forward. NZTR looks forward to working closely with him to further the development of New Zealand racing.
