The New Zealand Jockeys’ Association has swung into action with the next stage in the fund-raising exercise to assist jockey Rohan Mudhoo and his wife Payel.
Popular Riccarton Park jockey Rohan is battling a serious ill health issue and is unable to work at his primary source of income, raceday riding. The ‘Rohan Mudhoo Trust’ has been established to manage the fundraiser.
The Jockeys’ Association has organised four outstanding items for you to bid on with any one of them being an event and occasion worthy of a successful bid.
They are:
- A unique opportunity for you and a mate to have lunch or dinner with trainers of Orchestral - Roger James and Robert Wellwood at Alpino in Cambridge.
- The absolute privilege of you and a mate dining with legends of racing – trainer Kevin Myers and commentator Tony Lee at The Fat Farmer in Palmerston North.
- A fan of Craig Grylls? You and a mate could be joining him for a 60-minute scenic flight, departing from Matamata, a chance to share some laughs and chat racing with one of NZ's best jockeys.
- A framed pair of signed Opie Bosson breeches, worn aboard Imperatriz
The auction closes at 7pm NZ Time, Sunday 5th May and takes place through the Boys Get Paid website. Simply follow the instruction to bid once connected in.
