Trainer Application

Trainer Authorised Syndicator Applications

Applications from Trainers to be Authorised Syndicators are simpler because NZTR has a record of Trainers’ credentials. The number of supporting documents required for Trainer Authorised Syndicator applications is greatly reduced.

Once a Trainer has been granted Authorised Syndicator status however, they must comply with the same Code of Practice as all other Authorised Syndicators.  This means that for every syndication there must be:

  • A Syndicate Agreement
  • A Disclosure Statement
  • A Veterinary Certificate
  • Valuation Certificates if the horse being syndicated was not purchased on a public auction within 6 months of the application being lodged with NZTR.
